Start your career with us in our busy depot in Forfar, working within our workshop alongside experienced engineers and parts specialists to assist with the fabrication and assembly of components and systems for a variety of groundcare and agricultural machinery.

You will be working with our department to service, maintain and repair machinery which comes into our workshop, which can include tractors, quad bikes, lawnmowers and more. This will include fault diagnosing, understanding of the engine and mechanical assemblies

Candidates who show commitment and potential will be put forward to work towards a college qualification (Start dates dependent on spaces) on block release.

Areas of responsibility:

* Fabrication of components

* Assembly of components and systems

* Repairing Agricultural, Horticultural & Groundcare Equipment

* Servicing a variety of equipment

* Carry out above in our workshop

* Operation of equipment involved in the above

* Awareness of Health & Safety Procedures and following these

* Any other duties as required

The Person

The role is depot-based, and we require someone preferably with an interest in repairing Groundcare Machinery

• Preferred Candidates should be school leavers with a minimum of 2+ Nat 5 in English and Maths preferred, others considered.
• Have a strong interest and/or experience in repairing mechanical equipment
• Be able to produce clear, legible handwriting
• Be a good problem solver
• Have a willingness to learn and work with others

Successful applicants will enjoy excellent working conditions and be required to attend block release at college.

The Role

Are you an experienced engineer looking for a new environment?

We are currently recruiting experienced mechanics to join our team of engineers in our workshop in Forfar. This role consists of the repair, maintenance, assembly, and operation of various Groundcare, Agricultural, and horticultural equipment and vehicles. Carried out both in our workshop working with our team of Engineers.

Like every day to be different? One day you can be up in the farms of Aberdeenshire demonstrating a UTV, the next you could be at an event showcasing our range of equipment or communicating with customers from our Depot in Forfar.

With no two days the same, this role consists of the sale, demonstration, and operation of a variety of Groundcare, Agricultural, Horticultural, Forestry and Construction equipment covering the Aberdeenshire and Angus Area.

Joining our existing Sales team at our depot in Forfar, we are looking for someone enthusiastic and outgoing who has previous mechanical or industry knowledge looking to make their way into sales. This role requires working independently, managing your own time and workload, while simultaneously communicating with the various other departments across the depot.

This is a customer-facing role that consists of communicating with existing and new customers, liaising with internal departments, answering customer enquiries, identifying customer needs, recommending machinery with the appropriate specifications and providing on-site demonstrations.

We attend a variety of shows and events throughout the year which would require our sales team to be in attendance.
